Adaptations to its Environment
This map shows the range of the Green Sea Turtles. They live in tropical and warm subtropical coastal waters around the world.
Adaptations to Enviornment
- Sea turtles can live in seawater because they get enough fresh water from their diet and from metabolizing seawater. METABOLIZING: Brecking down and changing the seawater
- Sea turtles have a salt gland to rid their bodies of excess salt. This gland empties into the sea turtles' eyes. These "tears" also help keep the eyes free of sand while females dig their nests
- Sea turtles are strong swimmers
